Fahad & Sarwat

1- How significant is Valentine’s Day in your life?

Sarwat:

Valentine’s Day is okayish in my life right now, especially at the point where I am, but I suppose it is more exciting and special when you are single or in a new relationship. When you are happily married, though, every day becomes Valentine’s Day because then you love that person every day with that same intensity and he reciprocates back.

Fahad:

Similarly, now that we are married, Valentine’s Day is more of a fun day for us, but it was a lifesaver when we were in our early 20s because it was a day where we could go out on a date and make memories.

2- What is the best term or phrase to describe Fahad?

Sarwat:

Haha, The best term to describe Fahad is Prince Charming (Blushes)

3- What is the best term or phrase to describe Sarwat?

Fahad:

Sarwat is analogous to water! She is a life-giver who makes every place she visits lovely and beautiful.

4- What are the three qualities of Sarwat that you are most drawn to?

Fahad:

Sarwat’s three attributes that I am drawn to the most are benevolence, she has a heart as vast as the ocean, she is always so altruistic and compassionate, and number two, she is a lover, she knows how to love. If she loves you, she will make your life a paradise. Last but not least, she is stunningly beautiful.

5- What are the three qualities of Fahad that you are most drawn to?

Sarwat:

He’s a wonderful father, he works on himself, and he’s extremely dedicated to his profession. These are some of Fahad’s characteristics that I admire the most.

6- Is there a quality of both of you that the audience isn’t aware of?

Sarwat:

Ummm. I believe Fahad performs admirably under duress that is something many people are unaware of.

Fahad:

Many people are unaware that beneath all the glitz and glamour, Sarwat is a gem of a person. She is as genuine as they come. She is extremely humble. Shell be the first one to serve food to people at any family gathering or celebration and the first one to clear dishes from the table, and I think that’s extremely courageous and impressive.

7- Do you have any crazy Valentine’s Day memories to share?

Fahad: Hahaha Absolutely!

Sarwat:

When Fahad and I were dating, oh my that seems like another lifetime ago. He literally sprang at the Indus Valley at night to show me the banner (his white bed sheet) which had “will you be my valentine” written on it. Unfortunately, it went away in the wind, and I never saw it. That is one of our most cherished memories.

Fahad:

Basically, I went to her campus Indus Valley and hung the banner that said “would you be my valentines?” Then I asked these three girls to bring her the three different colored roses, but Sarwat had no idea where all these things came from because the banner didn’t have my name on it. Then at last I finally went with all three flowers in hand and proposed to her.

8- Tell us about a time when you realized or sensed Fahad was the only one.

Fahad:

Sarwat and I have been friends for a long time. I liked her, but we were friends at the time, and I didn’t want to admit it. Then one day, my friend and I were at a party, and Sarwat came in, and my friend turned around and asked, “Oh who is she?” That’s when I realized, “Oh no no no, she’s just mine!” I wanted to be with her, so I approached her and asked her out.

Sarwat:

You know when you first fall in love, you believe it is pure love and that it is just meant to be, and I believe that when you encounter that same person again after years and feel the same way, then is when you realize that he is the one.

9- What is your mantra for a successful relationship?

Sarwat:

Communication and making an effort every day, I believe, are the mantras for a successful relationship. I believe that all relationships necessitate effort. Not just once a year, but on a daily basis!

Fahad:

I wholeheartedly agree! To let it run long and beautiful having strong communication between the two is essential

10- What would be one new adventure you’d like to share this year as a couple?

Sarwat:

We had already shared an adventure this year when we flew to Dubai for the New Year’s festivities.

Hahaha we had already shared an adventure this year when we went to new years celebration in Dubai and my older son got covid and we were stuck at the airport in Dubai for 11 hours i think it was quite adventurous

Fahad:

This year, I suppose an adventure I’d like to share with Sarwat is going up into the mountains with her. Away from the pleasures of life and just live, away from everyone, including our children, just the two of us. Because I feel that going up into the mountains allows you to connect with your inner self and discover who you truly are. And I believe that sharing such an event with someone you care about allows you to get to know them better, so yeah!

11- If you could Alter one thing about each other, what would it be?

Fahad:

If there’s one thing I could change about Sarwat, it’d be to read the fine print a little more!

Sarwat:

If there’s one thing I could improve about Fahad, it’d be his poor organizational skills, so I’d like him to be a little more organized with his health and curriculum.

12- What is it that the two of you are so obsessed with?

Sarwat:

Fahad is fascinated with self-improvement, which I find interesting to observe in a person. He is constantly reading and attempting to learn new things. It’s great to see someone who is constantly striving for self-growth and self-awareness

Fahad:

Sarwat is obsessive about cleanliness and organization! It doesn’t matter if it’s my stuff or the kids. Sarwat wants everything to be in order!

13- What message will you send to Fahad if the entire world hears you?

Sarwat:

My message to Fahad would be “Stay strong! i am right here with you for now and forever!”

Fahad:

“Sarwat kal bhi tum thein, Ajj bhi tum ho or In Shaa Allah hamesha tum rahogi” you are the one for me! you are my soulmate!”
