Shahveer Jafri’s Podcast

Shahveer’s podcast are famous for their witty humour, relatable content and lots of infectious laugh. In his Honest Hour session that has almost 131 episodes now, many famous and not-so-famous people have joined to share their views and open up. Kudos to Shahveer too for choosing such fantastic people to join his show.

Chand Tara Series

Chand Tara is a Hum TV’s Ramadan serial which is featuring Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor. Ayeza Khan is playing the character of a doctor and Danish Taimoor is portraying the role of a software engineer. The story is about their love journey. Well, fans of Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor are loving the drama, however, a large number of audiences is saying that this drama is just another Ramadan drama. They are missing and recalling Suno Chanda and Chupke Chupke. As part of the drama, Ayeza Khan has also been sharing her dance practice on Instagram which has caused quite a stir and her fans are quite upset to note that she has been sharing dance videos during the holy month of Ramazan.

Resham Talks about Depression

Resham Talks about Depression

It seems that this is the month to open up and share true experiences. Resham recently voiced her deeper feelings on a TV show about how depression does not exist and it is merely just getting away from Allah. In a candid manner, she talked about the wrong perception of depression and how it has been given so much importance by society. To her the only cure of this depression is getting close to the creator. Resham has been doing a lot of charity work lately, including feeding the poor and showing her love for the fellow human beings. In her message she implored the haters to divert their energy towards positive work, rather than back-biting on others. Good going Resham!

The Ups and Downs of Jeeto Pakistan

The Ups and Downs of Jeeto Pakistan

The famous show of Fahad Mustafa that drives people to insanity during those thirty days of Ramazan has recently witnessed many ups and downs. During the live show, Mustafa may not be taking any pressure, but the guests that come along to create excitement seem to portray an underlying tension. Their body language gives out vibes of competitiveness. In this struggle to win, recently Adnan Siddiqui seemed to have lost his control and shoved poor Dr Shaista who went falling down, (partly due to her block heals). The aftermath of this incident has resulted in no high heels for Dr S. and AS now behaving less competitive.

Pakistani Cinema going places

The last few months has been quite glorious for Pakistani cinema, especially since the airing of Kamli and Joyland. Both these movies have raised quite a hue and cry and revolt from the public. Both movies though, recently have won at MISAFF23 Canada. Directed by Sarmad Khoosat and starring Saba Qamar, Nimra Bucha and Sania Saeed, Kamli revolves around the intertwining stories of three women and their restrained desires. Joyland on the other hand is a story by Saim Sadiq that explores the unsettled social and hidden identities of a widower and his children with delicacy and tenderness. Kudos to our cinema.

Green Entertainment, Idiot it is

Green Entertainment, a digital channel seemed to be all set to highlight the issues of our land, in black and white. The channel has come up with an interesting drama showing Ahmed Ali Akbar who was last seen on TV for his popular role in Parizaad. He will now be seen playing the lead role in Idiot which will be premiered on Green Entertainment. Alongside Mansha Pasha, the Laal Kabootar duo is coming back together on the silver screen. Green Entertainment just released two OST’s of this upcoming show. Produced by Entanna Productions in association with Multiverse Entertainment, the upcoming drama is directed by Anjum Shahzad and written by Kifayat Rodani. Green Entertainment officially released the first official look and the trailer of Idiot which playfully shows Ahmed Ali Akbar in lead role, as an individual who has always grown “Idiot” is a story that is centred around an individual who is misfit, rebel, a thinker and someone who challenges the norms and questions the system from childhood, while fighting for a more just world.

Malala all happy with Hubby

In a recent instagram post, Malala was seen donning custom painted shoes that her husband Aseer Malik has gifted to her. Malala proudly quotes “One of the many things I love about my husband is that he gives the most thoughtful gifts.” Malala is vacationing in LA, visiting Santa Monica pier and enjoying the weather. Perhaps there are other things she needs to focus on than just custom painted shoes. Malala has been under a lot of flak for mingling with Hollywood and Bollywood actors and enjoying the glamour of it. There seems to be no concrete social work that shows her passion.
