PSL 2020 Official theme Song – Tayyar Hain

The official song of the fifth edition of Pakistan Super League “Tayyar Hain” has been jointly sung by Junoon’s Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Haroon Rashid and Asim Azhar. Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan produced the music video and Kamal Khan directed it. The official anthem was composed using indigenous instruments such as tumba, chimta, rubab and harmonium.

The music video stars Pakistan’s T20I skipper Babar Azam along with Hasan Ali, Rumman Raees, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shan Masood. The anthem, through its unifying melody, celebrates this very victory that’s taken years to evolve to reach this point. Every singer and every musician with more than 20 instruments of multiple tastes, in the making of the anthem, worked by heart which, collectively, represents love for Pakistan, for PSL and for cricket

Tayyar Hain, through its lyrics and music, captures the mood and celebrates the fact that the entire Pakistan Super League 2020 is taking place in Pakistan for the very first time.

Karachi Kings – Yeh Hai Karachi.

Sung and composed by Asim Azhar, it is a song that Karachiets love to own. Asim Azhar is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, who is often referred to as the Justin Bieber of Pakistan due to his stardom in early age. He started his career as a singer, re-singing contemporary Western songs before he became a public figure. He also sang the famous “kitna maaza aye ray” in an Ad for Dairy Milk. And the famous “cocomo biscuit” ad jingle. He conceptualized the song for Karachi Kings two years back to present a tune that can never be forgotten.

Peshawar Zalmi – Pashto rap

Peshawar Zalmi has released its PSL 2020 official Anthem. This time the song is a Pashto rap sung by Fortitude- Pukhtoon Core, a three-member rap band. Bringing along all the ace elements, Zalmi has taken it to the next level! The hip hop track has been conceptualized by Pashto band Pukhtoon Core. Unique tunes and catchy lyrics make ‘Zalmi by Fortitude’ a distinctive number. It is a unique Pashto hip-hop song that has the potential to infuse excitement and enthusiasm in cricket fans. The song features star cricketers from the team, including Darren Sammy, Kamran Akmal, Wahab Riaz, Hassan Ali, and Mohammad Mohsin, along with actors Mehwish Hayat and Hania Amir.
