  • It is usually believed that the realm of glamour necessitates a large number of priorities to provide you with all of the limelight. What are the three things that showbiz has taken from you?

To some extent, this is true, but to be honest, showbiz has taken nothing away from me. However, I would like to emphasize that you are always learning, and when you believe you know everything, you will fail. I’ve learned a lot in show business! It taught me patience, tolerance, and the importance of putting up a lot of effort in order to succeed and stay in the business

  • What are the two facts that most people are unaware of about Rabya Kulsoom?

Some things are purposefully kept hidden from audiences, and I believe that this is appropriate, but since you’re asking, the first fact is that I am a highly spiritual person. Well, this one I can accept as a fact; I’m not sure how people will react, but I can come across as arrogant and reserved at times, yet I am the polar opposite!

  • what would you change about yourself?

Well, I used to be irascible, and over the years, I’ve worked hard to improve this trait of mine. I’ve come a long way, but I still have a long way to go!

  • daydreamer or night rider?

Hmm… I think Night Rider!

  • An actor whom you don’t wanna work with?

  • “Danceography,” a joint initiative between you and Srha Asghar, has exploded in popularity in a short period. It was much appreciated. Why are there no new videos on the channel?

Yes, absolutely! The first and most important reason was that due to covid 19, we had to take a hiatus, and those who follow me now know that I was pregnant. However, something exciting is about to strike!

  • “Product of nepotism” is a term used to describe celebrities who have family members who work in the industry. Do you believe having a family member in the business makes things easier for you?

Ummm, No! Things were different for me! Having family members in the field, particularly one who is one of our industry’s legends, my mother, who has a wonderful name and reputation, had made things difficult. because it teaches the fraternity members that they cannot take advantage of me anyhow, and as a result, I am at times removed from projects for the following reason! Also, my mother is well-known in the industry for telling us that at the end of the day, it’s your effort, so don’t expect me to provide a source!

  • It’s a widespread belief, but it’s finally been proven true: most great artists who have been in the profession for a long time and are well-known around the world are financially insecure in their latter years. What is the value of an artist in Pakistan? What should be done to make a difference?

Except for the rates and remunerations of actors, everything in our country seems to be more expensive. I feel that setting remunerations based on an analysis of an artist’s nature of work and value will make a difference. Only the artists in our country are being degraded daily! Also, in terms of the later years, if senior artists are paid based on the amount of work they’ve done in the previous years, they won’t have to rely on the government to help them organize medical treatment and assistance!

  • You had been outspoken about industry difficulties, particularly payment issues. What do you believe the main reason for the production and channel not clearing artist payments on time is?

Yes, I’ve been outspoken about it, but that was a very different situation. Whatever challenges and crises the channel and production encounter, they will be able to respond more effectively. It’s a massive setup. The instance you discuss here was a completely different case, but I’d like to point out that when it comes to payments, I’ve been quite fortunate because my payments have always been on time.

  • What advantages and disadvantages do you see in the drama and film industries of adjacent countries?

Umm in the vicinity You’re referring to India when you say that. In Pakistan, Bollywood is the yardstick by which success is measured. Regardless of the character or part he or she played in the film, anyone who has worked in Bollywood is considered a major factor. It’s a larger industry, or at least a larger film industry. Considering all of this, the disadvantage to the actor is that we are not marketing our content, even though we do require Indian and Turkish content to run our cinemas, but if we are a part of those industries, who will look after our industry? The packed theatres of Spiderman 3 and the vacant seats of Khel Khel Mein are recent examples of this.

  • What do you think the showbiz sector in Pakistan will look like in the next five years?

The future, on the other hand, appears to be highly promising. There was a lag in between, but I’m confident that in the next 5 years, we’ll be unstoppable!

  • Should we anticipate the release of your film ” Gawah Rehna” in 2022? Also, would you mind mentioning your part in the movie?

Gawah Rehna is set to be released this year, so stay tuned. We chatted with the producer and directors, who indicated they will assess the cinema’s footfall before deciding whether to distribute it now or later this year. My character is a Hindu girl, and the plot revolves around the khilafat movement, as well as Turkey’s role in the movement.

  • What are your goals for the new year of 2022?

The goal for 2022 is to work hard and party harder! (Inshallah).

  • Any message that you’d like to send to your fans?

The message from me is to be kind to one another and spread love and positivity always. get vaccinated and wear your masks!
