Sarah Jessica Parker will forever be associated with Carrie Bradshaw character. While Parker may not regularly wear the kind of extreme outfits that her fashion-obsessed character made famous on the hit show, the actress sometimes adds dash of Carrie into her everyday wardrobe. For one thing, she loves and sells under her own label the same kind of sparkly pumps that her fictional alter ego wore while traipsing around Manhattan.
Fun look of Gigi Hadid
Suiting is a major trend for fall. At the shows in Paris earlier this year, labels such as Balenciaga, Givenchy, and Alexander McQueen showed fresh takes on the classic two-piece in all sorts of treatments: velvet, gingham, satin, and more. Leave it to runway star Gigi Hadid to immediately get on board with this playful approach to tailoring. Yesterday, the model hit the streets of New York City wearing a fun, groovy take on the look.Tapping summer’s major tie-dye craze, Hadid opted for a double-breasted suit that had artful dip-dying.
The style of Bela Hadid
Bela Hadid hit the streets in her go-to shoe this fall: a punky pair of combat boots, with hefty lug soles, this time in the form of classic Dr. Martens. She gave them a whimsical touch, however, by pairing them with sheer, below-the-knee hosiery. Statement socks had a moment on the runways a few seasons ago, and stars such as Selena Gomez have even done luxe takes on the trend recently—she wore Fendi knee-highs last year—but Hadid’s take was more about treating the stocking as a subtle accessory, even if it still remained eye-catching.
Chanel Spring 2020 Fashion week intruded
They say that you should never take fashion too seriously, and today at the Chanel Spring 2020 show in Paris, laughter did indeed abound. As the finale took place atop a stage set modeled after Parisian rooftops, one woman dressed like Coco Chanel herself, in a black-and-white houndstooth tweed and hat cocked to the side, stomped her way onto the platform. She strutted and posed for a few moments until none other than supermodel Gigi Hadid tapped her on the shoulder and escorted her backstage. Needless to say, social media has been ablaze with hilarious videos and memes of the Fashion Week intrusion ever since.
