What Not To Wear This Winter

With winter just around the corner, it is always a good thing to up your outfit game. While there are some staples that never go out of style, here are some winter items that are best avoided this year.

Skinny Jeans

CHOOSE SOMETHING COZY AND WARM.

Jeans are a piece of clothing that have been around since the late 20th century. Denim on denim looks are also common, but lately, the skinny jean culture that rose in the 2010’s is on a decline. Instead, wide legged, baggy jeans are making a comeback. These jeans can be dressed down with a comfortable hoodie, or dressed up with a nice winter blouse.

Patterned Leggings

Patterned Leggings

Patterned leggings are comfy and warm, but not a great fit for winter 2023. Patterned fabrics like snake print, and paisley are not in fashion anymore. Instead, to attain maximum comfort and fashion, it is better to go for some plain, neutral leggings, keeping in line with the minimalistic fashion that many seem to prefer.

Fur vests and coats

Keeping in line with the animal rights movements that have been gaining steam, many companies have pledged to stop making fur products. Wearing clothes that support animal cruelty is not cool. This winter, opt for a vegan leather or suede coat instead.

The Colour White

Wearing a white jacket or a white polo is not a good idea during winters. Wearing a dark shade, black, grey, olive or deep rust is a better idea. The white colour is synonymous to coolness which can easily be avoided.
