HEALTHY BEAUTY

The trend of enhancing beauty in a healthy way has taken a heightened significance this year. It is all about using natural herbs and ingredients to make your skin and hair glow. Chemicals and artificial solutions are a thing of a past now.

Fashion Collection gives you a whole new perspective on how to unwind this year in a healthy way.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate

Pomegranates (Anaar) are a perfect fruit to enjoy with its red juicy flavour. Interestingly, all parts of pomegranates can be used including the seeds, peel and the juice. Use the juice to reduce inflammation of the skin and reduce wrinkles. Dilute the juice with half parts water and apply to the skin at night, leaving it overnight. Wash off in the morning for that extra glow and taut skin that will surely become the envy for others.

Lemon

To get the smooth skin, squeeze juice of 2 lemons, mix it with1 tablespoon of honey, and then bring them to a warm level. Apply this mixture to the face at night for about 20 minutes, then wipe your face and clean with mineral water or rose water. This is an amazing way to a glowing skin.

Tea Bags

A scrub made from green tea leaves can deep-clean oily skin and help get rid of blackheads. Tear open a tea bag and mix 1 teaspoon of leaves with a little water until you have a paste. Gently scrub the paste over the area for 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Then dry your face and use moisturizer.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Include apple cider vinegar as part of your pedicure routine. It’s always a wise idea to use apple cider vinegar with water, as concentrated apple cider vinegar may disrupt the skin barrier leading to skin inflammation. So, to reap skin-soothing benefits, an easy solution is to pour some straight into a warm water tub, around half cup should do. Soak your feet for anywhere from 15–20 minutes to allow the protective acid to soak into your skin. This will help balance the pH levels of your skin, preventing it from becoming too oily or too dry and leaving your skin smooth.

Sea Salt

Nothing is quite as refreshing as a warm sea salt bath. Sea salt crystals accumulate loads of minerals, including magnesium, calcium, sodium, and potassium, as they make their way from the vast ocean to the shore. These minerals have numerous benefits to your skin cells. It would be best to apply sea salts topically, and you can use additional ingredients such as avocado and honey to make a facial scrub. These ingredients are also fantastic antioxidants.

Almonds

When it comes to optimum beauty and nutrition, almond nuts are a veritable powerhouse. They are a great source of vitamin E, an excellent ingredient for nourishing the skin. You can either apply almond oil topically to your skin through a moisturizer or body scrub to soothe and soften the skin. Moreover, almond oil is a combination of oleic and linoleic acids, making it readily absorbed into the skin and less greasy than the other oils. Besides making your skin more radiant and younger-looking, almond oil can help reduce the scar tissue formed from dark spots, acne, and stretch marks. Although it is safe for use on the face, consider using almond oil on your body only if you have oily skin.

Note: Before trying all these remedies, do consult with a skin specialist.Â
