When the whole nation was celebrating the tremendous victory of Pakistan, an unfortunate incident occurred on Pakistan Television PTV. Dr Nauman Niaz and Shoaib Akhtar were part of the panel for the sports show “Game on hai” along with the international players.
During a discussion on the Pakistani team, Akhtar credited the Pakistan Super League’s Lahore Qalandars franchise for discovering Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf.Niaz took issue with Akhtar’s comments and said: “You are being a little rude so I don’t want to say this but if you’re being over-smart then you can go. I am saying this on air.”
Once the show resumed after a break, Akhtar apologized to the guests on the panel and announced his resignation from PTV, saying that he could not continue with the program because of “how I was treated on national television”
Arguments happen during TV shows, the host has no right to tell their guest to leave. Tat was no way to treat the guests. What happened with Shoaib Akhtar upsets the people that is why they demand for an apology from Nauman Niaz.

PEMRA RESTRICTS TV CHANNELS FOR AIRING PHYSICAL AFFECTION IN DRAMAS
Recently, PEMRA (Pakistan Regulatory Authority) directed all the local TV channels to refrain from airing PDA (public displays of affection) in dramas. Authority has received several complaints against such content. In the notification, PEMRA said, “a considerable stratum of the society” believes that dramas are not depicting the true picture of Pakistani society.
