Peach Iced Tea
Ingredients
- Four cups water
- Four peach flavoured green tea bags
- Two ripe peaches, sliced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Ice
Directions
- Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan.
- Add the tea bags and steep for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the sliced peaches, honey, and lemon juice.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing down on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Chill the tea mixture in the refrigerator.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour the chilled tea mixture over the ice.
- Garnish with a slice of peach.
