This ramazan, let’s experiment with dates and serve this delightful indulgence. You will love this recipe which brings together dates, figs and peanut butter.


What you need

  • 2 cups dates, deseeded
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup figs
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds


How to Prepare

  1. Soak the dates and figs in water for 1 hour. Drain and pat dry.
  2. In a food processor, add all the ingredients and pulse until you acquire a sticky mixture.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly on a small baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate for atleast 1 hour and then cut into neat 1-inch squares. Serve.

Peanut Butter Noodles

What you need

  • 2 cooked boneless skinless chicken pieces (sliced or shredded, optional)

  • 8 ounces pasta

  • ¼ cup peanuts

  • ¼ cup green onions(chopped)

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 ½ tablespoons ginger root (minced)

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce and peanut butter

  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey

  • 2 teaspoons hot Chilli paste

  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)


How to Prepare

Step 1: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add noodles and cook according to package directions. Drain.

Step 2: While noodles are cooking in a medium saucepan combine chicken broth, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, peanut butter, honey, and chilli paste. Cook over medium heat while stirring until the peanut butter melts and mixture is smooth and well blended.
